We use local Banka style boats, owned and operated by the local fishermen whom we have trained in diving activities.

By employing them it gives them a better source of income and helps them to improve their quality of life. We believe that tourism should benefit as many as possible, so by employing them direct more money goes into the local economy. Using local style boats also adds to your
diving experience

We also employ them as their knowledge of the seas is outstanding; they know the best places to dive to see fish…and if they
are not fishing then that’s more marine life for divers to see. A win win situation for all.

All dive equipment, refreshments and food is included so you don’t need to bring much on the boat. Obviously a camera for photographing the majestic scenery, perhaps a personal music player, sunglasses, sun cream and a hat. And of course swim wear.

We also recommend bringing some small money as a ‘tip’ for the boat crew doing a wonderful job, if you think they have. They will love you for it!

We also advise you to bring a towel and some dry clothing to change into after the dive trip. These will be left in the transport vehicle, ready for you to get changed into before transferring back to the resort.

No. Most of the sites have very little current because we plan the dives to go at the optimum time. You will have an experienced dive guide who will make things as easy as possible.

100% NO.

We do not allow any spear or other types of fishing during any of our dive activities. No exception.

We advocate a policy of passive interaction with all marine life.

We take only pictures and memories and leave only bubbles.

Simple answer is no, we do not refill third party tanks. We fill our tanks only.

There are numerous reasons why we don’t fill others tanks, all relating to safety and legal liability issues.

Simple answer is no, under no circumstances.

Humans are responsible for killing well over 100 million sharks a year; a conservative estimate. Thats 0ver 190 a minute. Many sharks are now on the endangered list and facing extinction.

Sharks in comparison are responsible for less human deaths that falling coconuts. And contrary to popular belief, sharks don’t hunt humans. It is invariably mistake identity when they bite; sharks do not eat humans, they don’t even like the taste of our blood.

During tide movement from high to low tide, there is a strong current, akin to a rip tide that will pull unsuspecting divers/swimmers out beyond the reefs and make re-entering the bay extremely arduous.

Dives are timed to avoid this period, making it accessible to all levels of diver. HOWEVER. These dives are designated for Advanced Open Water Certification with a minimum of 20 logged dives, for safety and caution reasons. We do not make exceptions to this safety rule.
